Escape from Shadow Caves

This game was created for the Pirate Jam 15, but I was not able to finish it in time. Kept working on it after the jam, and now I am releasing it.

Game Summary

Escape from Shadow Caves is a first-person shooter set in a world of darkness and shadows. Players must navigate through dimly lit environments, battling shadow creatures with light-infused ammunition. The game revolves around resource management of light and ammo, as well as maintaining the player's sanity in the oppressive darkness. The objective is to find the 4 Keycards to unlock the exit door and escape.

JAM Theme: Shadows and Alchemy

The game's theme revolves around shadows and dark enviroments, where the core gameplay mechanic is the use of light-infused ammunition to fight shadow creatures and navigate through the darkness. The alchemical theme is based on the transformation of ammo into a resource for fighting but also for illuminating the environment and recovering sanity.
